- Abstract
The article examines the U.S. National Football League's (NFL) domestic violence policies and proposes that the NFL should adopt a transitional compensation policy. Topics discussed include need of federal funds to be apportioned directly to domestic violence survivors; discretionary power granted to the NFL Commissioner, allowing for the enforcement of the Personal Conduct Policy (PCP); and Commissioner's use of the power since the NFL's inception.
