- Authors
Gimingh, C. H.; Boggle, R.
- Abstract
The article presents information on the stages of recolonization of an area in Norway that underwent a catastrophic landslide. Various scientists surveyed the area, who reported the increase in the number of species in the area. Pioneer colonists were Tussilago farfara and Equisetum arvense along with some bryophytes. This community caused several legumes that resulted in a woodland of Alnus incana in another 20 years. The woodland of Alder led to the improvement in soil structure, aeration and humus content. Alder also formed, Spruce, which increased the activities of the forest formation.
