- Title
Dew, where and when? 'There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy ...'.
- Authors
Proctor, Michael C. F.
- Abstract
The author discusses the formation of dew in the leaves and grasses during dewfall. He mentions that dew are formed on the leaves of grasses because leaves are more repellant that makes the dew condensed in spherical droplets. He says that dew in temperate forest are seldom formed because the energy exchange in forest canopies are much more diffuse than in closely-grazed or mowed grasses.
