- Abstract
The article focuses on the Southern distributions of three snapping shrimps of the Alpheus Fabricius in South America. It states that the Alpheus colombiensis, A. hamus, and A. estuariensis in the western Atlantic are some of the species living in the estuarine type of environment It says that the species are not only representing first records from Peru but also the southward range extensions for the species in the eastern Pacific.
