- Abstract
Language transfer has always been a hot topic in the study of second language acquisition. Most language learners are easily affected by their mother tongue while learning a foreign language. This paper will mainly focus on Chinese negative transfer and its influence on English writing. It lists some common errors which Chinese middle school students made on English writing. Moreover, the author also gives suggestions on how to avoid such negative transfer on English writing.
