- Title
Commentary on Bodin & Strandberg (2011): Scepticism, publication bias and a grain of salt - do we already know how to evaluate prevention programmes?
- Authors
PECHANSKY, FLAVIO
- Abstract
In this article the author discusses evaluation methods in the reporting of negative findings. He suggests that it is important that the readers be told about findings that question previous results. Independent measurement of findings through unconvinced methods should be used to get an outcome. In comparison to clinical research, prevention program research needs advancement in technical achievements. He concludes by saying that findings should be taken with a grain of salt.
