- Abstract
The article presents the study on the omega-3 fatty acid supplementation for pregnant women with symptoms of mental depression in Japan and Taiwan. It states the possible efficacy of moderate omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) supplementation of improving depressive symptoms. It mentions that placebo effect could be stronger in women with omega-3 PUFA supplementation.
