- Abstract
The article discusses a model for the human cardiovascular system and its applications. Topics include the use of hemodynamic signals in diagnosing cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), the human cardiovascular model's ability to simulate hemodynamic signals and represent the human arterial blood pressure, and the potential to use the model in designing an artificial heart. Also mentioned is the development of animation software linked with hemodynamic signals display for use as a teaching tool.
