- Abstract
The article examines the controlled delivery of tetracycline hydrochloride (TC) and chlorotetracycline hydrochloride (CTC) from electrospun poly(D,L-lactide) (PDLLA) nanofibers. The influence of methanol as a cosolvent in the eletrospinning solution in regard to physical fiber properties and drug release behavior is discussed. The study shows that with increasing amounts of methanol, fiber diameters decreases and contact angle and drug-loading efficiency increases.
