- Abstract
The article presents information on a study which described the addition of minimal amount of the plasticizer dibutyl phthalate (DBP) to poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) to enhance the mobility of the PVDF melt while not diminishing the crystallinity and elastic recovery of the PVDF fibers. A review of the related literature is given. The effects of the DPB concentration on the morphology and mechanical properties of PVDF fibers are explored in detail. It discusses the research findings.
