- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of palm-based acrylated polyol ester prepolymer for ultraviolet coating. The authors in their experiment used palm olein polyol to react with acrylic acid in the presence of a catalyst and inhibitors through the condensation esterification process. They discovered that by using monomer trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) and a 2.0% catalyst-synthesized prepolymer, the highest pendulum hardness of 49.4% can be realized.
