- Abstract
The article discusses a study which determined antiemetic prescription adherence to the protocol of a hospital and international recommendations and the relationship between the incidence of nausea and vomiting (NV) and between the adherence and patients' individual risk to emesis. Topics discussed include indication that adherence is slightly higher in prescriptions for acute emesis and the conclusion that adherence may not be influenced by a doctor's perception of patient's risk of emesis.
