- Abstract
The article discusses the grafting of styrene onto linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) using a technology of swelling and suspension copolymerization. Results showed that the copolymers' glass transition temperature increased after LLDPE was added, proving that polyethylene-g-polystyrene copolymer exists. The authors said that grafting efficiency was increased and the granulation rate was decreased following the addition of LLDPE.
