- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated blends of linear-low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), low density polyethylene (LDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The three blends were processed in an autoclave to produce clear dual peaks from the expanded polyethylene foam blends. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) showed that although no dual peaks were present, blending with HDPE has a more noticeable effect on the DSC curve of LLDPE than blending with LDPE.
