- Title
Low-Profile Mechanisms in a PVAc/Polyester Blend.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article identifies and correlates the different steps associated with the curing of poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) to the mechanism of shrinkage control in the presence of low-profile additive (LPA). When PVAc is used as an LPA, it shows to induce a phase separation upon curing, leading to an interconnected globule methodology which modifies the rheokinetics of the blend. The presence of PVAc also causes delay to cure kinetics and gel time.
