- Abstract
The article presents a study which analyzes the virulence factors and encoding bacteriocin in faecal enterococci of wild boars using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and sequencing. It tests 67 faecal enterococci of wild boars to examine the production of antimicrobial, haemolytic, and gelatinase activities. It evaluates the production of antimicrobial activity in all enterococci against 9 indicator bacteria. It states the reaction of antimicrobial activity in 11 enterococcus faecium isolates and the responses of the genes encoding enterocin A + enterocin B and enterocin L50A/B. It shows the combinations of genes of the cyl operon and the identification of gelE gene associated with the fsrABC locus. In addition, the discovery of cpd and ace genes is presented.
