- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 14-year-old boy with persisting pleuritic pain in the right lower hemithorax after athletic activities. Upon examination, a right hemothorax is noted to have shown in the chest X-ray for which a chest tube was inserted. The involved ribs of the patient was resected during right anterolateral minithoracotomy and his chest wall was being reconstructed through a prosthetic patch.
