- Abstract
The article focuses on the surveillance data of West Nile virus (WNV) that is reported to the Centers for Disease Control Prevention on July 12, 2005 in the U.S. Twenty five cases of human WNV illness have been reported by the eleven states in the country which mostly affect males. Meanwhile, in Texas, five persons who donated blood where found out to have West Nile viremic blood. This pandemic has also affected 281 dead corvids and 96 other dead birds from 16 states.
