Cheng et al., the study used 2011-2016 data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). The researchers examined the challenges and implications of national surveillance for racial and ethnic disparities in diabetes in the country. They identified the proportion of total diabetes that is undiagnosed.
