- Abstract
In recent years, within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Croup, diplomatic efforts for a resolution in Nagorno-Karabakh's conflict have remained inconclusive. Furthermore, the Azerbaijani public has increased its pressure on Baku administration to restore the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan with the use of hard power. Since the Russian-Georgian war in August 2008, which gave Moscow a maneuvering and pressure point in the Caucasus, Russia has shown its weight in a similar way to solve the problem of Nagorno-Karabakh through a pro-active foreign policy. However, the protocols which were signed in October 2009 in Zurich affected the process of normalization between Turkey and Armenia as well as the solution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In other words, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict affected the relations of the countries in the region with their allies as well as global actors. Compared to previous periods, the negotiation process in 2010 has been more intense than ever. In this context, the paper analyzes the developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in 2010 and their impacts on Turkish, Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign policies periodically.
