- Abstract
This article discusses the challenges faced by first-time home buyers in the current housing market and offers three strategies that builders can use to help these buyers achieve their dreams of homeownership. The first strategy is to provide clear and transparent information online, including pricing and process details, to build trust and confidence among buyers. The second strategy is to focus on understanding and addressing individual customer needs, rather than solely relying on price incentives, to alleviate buying fears. The third strategy is to provide a holistic purchase experience that extends beyond the contract, including setting realistic expectations, effective communication, and timely warranty repairs. By adopting these strategies, builders can tap into the significant market segment of first-time buyers and help them navigate the market successfully.
