- Authors
Rosenfeld, Eric
- Abstract
The article presents the findings of studies on the effects of pruning on the health of palm trees. It notes that after pruning, several species have a reduction of the new leaves size and found that it worsens the health of the palms due to the lack of mobile nutrients. Moreover, the studies on oil palm show an increase of weather-induced crown fracture incidence.
