- Abstract
A complete blood count demonstrated a white blood cell count of 47.79 K/ul, hemoglobin 13.8 g/dl, and platelet count of 217 K/ul; manual differential showed 76.0% neutrophils, 5.0% lymphocytes, 4.0% monocytes, 1.0% eosinophils, 9.0% bands, 3.0% metamyelocytes, and 2.0% myelocytes. Unusual non-platelet predominant clumping in a hematopoietic progenitor cell apheresis collection bag A 61-year-old male with multiple myeloma, IgA kappa isotype, status post lenalidomide, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (RVd) therapy, presented for hematopoietic progenitor cell apheresis (HPC-A) after mobilization with granulocyte colony stimulating factor and plerixafor.
