- Abstract
The article presents a case study on the new method of using aortic homograft for pharyngeal closure after total laryngectomy on a 69-year old male patient. An effective and simple reconstruction of the neopharynx with cadaveric homograft aorta has been successfully achieved. The new method offers a potential value for a variety of aerodigestive tract cases.
