- Abstract
The article focuses on a study related to the correlation between Total Fatty Acids (TFAs) intake and serum cholesterol levels in Japanese women. As per the study, 137 students were recruited from the Department of Food and Nutrition of Toyama College. The study mentions that daily intake of energy, nutrients and TFAs was calculated in volunteers by dietitians using nutrient calculation software. The study further concludes that TFAs intake does not affect serum cholesterol levels.
