- Abstract
The article discusses the results of a study investigating the characteristics of a rice gene encoding type-A diterpene cyclases. Members of the gene family are believed to be responsible for gibberellin biosynthesis. A theory was developed suggesting that the gene OsKS3 may be a pseudo-gene from which the translated product is a truncated enzyme
