- Abstract
A case study of a 59-year-old male patient with an acute type B aortic dissection is presented. Topics discussed include partial cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) instituted with left femoral artery and venous cannulation; placing of Gelweave thoracoabdominal graft to the left subclavian artery extending to the infra-renal abdominal aorta; and replacement of ascending aorta and hemi-arch with Gelweave branched graft.
