- Title
Corruption in International Business: The Obligations of Multinational Firms.
- Authors
Rose-Ackerman, Susan
- Abstract
Multinational firms are frequently implicated in corruption involving cross-border deals. Given the weakness of international anti-corruption institutions, this essay argues that multinational firms have an ethical obligation to refrain from making payoffs. This is especially true for those firms whose size and market power exceed those of many nationstates.
