- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a three-day-old neonate born at 37 weeks gestation, who was detected with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and scimitar syndrome. It says that the neonate underwent cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging with magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), which confirms the diagnosis of HLHS and scimitar syndrome. Moreover, cardiac transplantation was also performed in the patient at the age of 6.5 months due to heart block and cardiorespiratory failure.
