- Abstract
The article highlights the report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System database regrading the Interaction between medications, paracetamol and lamotrigine. Topics discussed include Lamotrigine considered a first-line treatment for epilepsy and bipolar disorder; administration of paracetamol with the anticonvulsant drug for its analgesic and antipyretic proprieties; and the both lamotrigine and paracetamol, substrates for the glucuronosyltransferases.
