- Abstract
This article, published in Chemistry of Natural Compounds, explores the chemical constituents of Swertia chirayita, a plant used in traditional medicine. The study focused on the ethyl acetate extract of S. chirayita and identified 15 compounds, some of which were reported for the first time from the family Gentianaceae. The chemical structures of these compounds were confirmed through NMR and MS analyses. The document provides a list of the compounds, including nobiletin, 4-Epihederagenin, 2-Epicorosolic acid, ursolic acid, 23-Hydroxyursolic acid, β-Daucosterol, Swerimilegenin I, Pyrocatechol, Syringic acid, Erythrocentaurin, and Amarogentin, along with their properties such as chemical formula, molecular weight, and spectroscopic data. The research was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.
