- Abstract
Taiwan layer industry is facing multiple challenges and technical needs, including harmful chemicals and bacteria monitoring, chicken manure recycling, antibiotic-free zoonotic prevention, artificial intelligence and internet of things (AIoT), big data storage and analysis etc. Two innovative equipment providers, Big Dutchman (BD) and AGCO GSI, have put Viper Touch and EDGE control system in the market. However, both systems have two defects including lack of biological data from layers and descriptive analysis of environmental data. We combined AI sensors, internet of things (IoT), layer house equipment, big data analysis of environmental parameters and machine deep learning to establish an Artificial intelligence Layer Production System (ALPS) through MOST support. The ALPS intends to join forces from research institutions and industry to create the pipeline of artificial intelligence for layer. We expect ALPS could improve Taiwan layer industry.
