- Abstract
The article discusses the prevalence of overactive bladder (OAB) in children. Topics discussed include impact of OAB on the quality of life (QOL), indices of QOL impact which include self-esteem, anxiety, and psychological distress, and objective of medical therapy for OAB is to improve continence. It also mentions measures of medical treatment for OAB such as binding of acetylcholine to the muscarinic receptors and neuromodulation.
