- Abstract
The movement of a solid put into rotation is complex by the amount of variables that can affect the rotation of such. By limiting the variables related to its form and the speeds of rotation, some interesting effects can be observed. Based upon these appreciations, we try to demonstrate that the movement of a solid put into rotation by means of an elastic union is stable only around the axis of maximum inertia.
