- Abstract
The complex dynamics of a model double-cavity delayed feedback klystron oscillator is considered. The self-oscillation and stationary oscillation conditions are analyzed theoretically. The results of numerical simulation of the self-modulation and chaotic regimes are presented, and routes to chaos at the center and boundaries of the oscillation zone are studied in detail. The effect of space charge forces on the oscillator dynamics is discussed.
