- Abstract
The article discusses a study evaluating viewpoints of end-of-life care specialists across 9 different countries as to the points of consideration and key issues while making decisions regarding care for the dying which may invlove withdrawing or withholding treatment, such as artificial nutrition (AN) and hydration (AH), or providing intensive treatment to alleviate suffering. A general consensus was observed, with the wishes of the patient being the highest priority for care givers.
