- Abstract
The article discusses a study performed by researcher John Rogers and others to develop a biologically inspired artificial compound eye hemispherical digital camera, which was published in the May 2, 2014 issue of the journal "Nature." It mentions that the camera consist of almost 200 image elements that provide a 160-degree view. It also mentions that the study integrated photodetectors, microlenses and electronics for the development of the fabricated camera.
