- Authors
Rajagopalan, P. K.
- Abstract
The article reports on the study conducted by the Vector Control Research Centre in which the indigenous strain of a Bacillus thuringiensis bacterium was isolated. It states that the team has worked on the efficacy of an indigenous bio-friendly mosquito control agent which was found to be effective in mosquito control. However, it says that the technology failed to obtain the Central Insecticide Board (CIB) registration from National Vector Borne Diseases Control Programme (NVBDCP).
