- Title
TROPICAL COUNTRYSIDE BIRD ASSEMBLAGES: RICHNESS, COMPOSITION, AND FORAGING DIFFER BY LANDSCAPE CONTEXT.

- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the capacity of tropical countryside in southern Costa Rica to offer resources for avian frugivores. It shows that the visitation rates of frugivores did not differ with landscape contexts for all combined species, but there were differences for 10 individual species' frequency of visits. It reveals that socially dominant frugivores were common visitors to trees in high-intensity, far agricultural sites.
