- Abstract
Reports that fructose-1,6-diphosphate (FDP) attenuates prostaglandin E[sub 2] production and cyclo-oxygenase-2 expression in ultraviolet B (UVB)-irradiated HaCaT keratinocytes. Cytoprotective effects of FDP against hypoxia or ischemia and reperfusion injury in brain and heart; Increase in prostaglandin E[sub 2] production; Inhibition of UVB-induced PGE[sub 2] production.
