- Abstract
Describes the effects of drying on the isotope ratios of water extracted from agar media and the hydrogen and oxygen isotope ratios of Bacillus subtilis spores cultured on agar. Analysis of the hydrogen versus oxygen stable isotopes relationship of water in Petri dish agar during evaporation; Confirmation of the constant hydrogen stable isotope ratios of spores cultured on agar as the agar dried; Significant enrichment of the oxygen isotope ratios as the agar dried.
