- Title
‘Clinical Features Alone’ Sufficient to Assess Need for Small Bowel Obstruction Surgery.
- Abstract
The article focuses on comparing the accuracy of using clinical features alone versus a combination of clinical features and computed tomography (CT) findings to assess the need for surgery in small bowel obstruction (SBO). The study found that clinical features alone performed equally well & sometimes with greater accuracy than combining clinical features with CT findings; suggesting that clinical features may be sufficient to identify patients who require urgent surgical intervention for SBO.
