- Abstract
Comment & Response B To the Editor b We would like to underscore a few concerns about the recent study[1] of aspirin discontinuation at 24 to 28 weeks' gestation in pregnancies at high risk of preterm preeclampsia. One could argue that the risk was modified by aspirin use, but the mechanism by which aspirin reduces preeclampsia risk is not known. Low-dose aspirin for the prevention of preterm delivery in nulliparous women with a singleton pregnancy (ASPIRIN): a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.
