- Abstract
The article focuses on patent misuse in U.S. patent law. Information is provided on how patent holders attempt unjust enrichment by alleging patent standards in an industry such as technology or manufacturing. It is noted that patent misuse is often used as a defense to patent infringement where the holder is asserting their rights to illegally extend their patent beyond statutory limitations.
