- Abstract
The article discusses several developments involving the cyber insurance industry as of 2014, and it mentions how a party's best alternative to seek insurance coverage for electronic loss is under the concept of loss of use of tangible property which falls under the definition of physical property in a commercial general liability (CGL) policy. The impacts of technology and the Internet on insurance laws and policies are assessed, along with coverage for cyber security breaches.
