- Authors
McCloskey, Karen D.
- Abstract
The article comments on a study which examines the techniques in the removal of the outer detrusor layer from the bladder in physiological processes. Topics include the little impact of detrusor smooth muscle on the shape of the pressure-volume curve, the applicability of denuded bladder preparation in pathophysiological studies with relevant permeability of the urothelium and the limitations of the denuded bladder model.
