- Abstract
The article reports that the measurement of the outcomes of health care has become an important issue for Great Britain National Health Service. Lack of consensus between purchasers and clinicians on the measurement of outcomes in genitourinary medicine was identified in a recent study in the west and south region of England. Speakers at a conference in Bristol in September 1996 emphasized the measurement of specification of the desired outcomes for genitourinary medicine.
