- Abstract
The article presents a study on the effects of ankle exercises combined with intermittent ice and compression to ankle sprain. Participants of the study include patients with acute grade 1 or 2 ankle sprain. Results indicate that exercise after a week of the sprain improves the ankle function and early return to weight bearing activity.
