- Abstract
Self-regulated learning involves an individual's ability to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to achieve learning goals. This article presents an experience report of student training in selfregulated learning conducted with students in adult education at a school in Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is considered that self-regulated learning is a relevant yet insufficiently explored topic in adult education. The training aims to enable students and teachers in this modality to deal with adult education in a selfdirected manner, thereby enhancing the overall educational experience.
