- Abstract
This research was executed to examine the effects of web 2.0 tools on mathematics achievement and permanence in 5th grade Percentages. In the research, a quasi-experimental design was used with pre-test post-test control group, one of the quantitative research methods. The research was conducted in the 2022-2023 academic year with 40 students, 20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group, studying in the 5th grade of a public school in Kızılcahamam District of Ankara. While the experimental group students were trained with Web 2.0 tools for 4 weeks, the control group students were taught in accordance with the textbook. In the study, the "Percentages Achievement Test" developed by the researcher was used to determine academic success. SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data. Independent t-test, Repetitive ANOVA, and Benferroni multiple comparison test were used in the analysis process. As a result of the research, it was seen that web 2.0 tools did not have a statistical effect on academic success, but they did have an effect on permanence.
